Shaykh Bin Baaz on Sisters Exercising

Bismillah assalamualikum

I can tell you from my own experience, being overweight is a BIG PROBLEM FOR WORSHIP OF ALLAH; it is very hard to wake up early, it is very hard to move around, one feels tired often and easily, it makes one feel lazy, really! Get yourself to workout, please! Remember the hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam worst thing we can fill is to fill our belly!

Being overweight leads to other problem like your ankles start to HURT and knees because people! Your knees and ankles are created to carry certain amount of weight! So, when you cross the limit, you pay the price by being on pain!

Take care of yourself, watch out what you eat! may Allah help us. Ameen.

Shaykh Bin Baaz on Sisters Exercising

Question: The questioner asks about the ruling on young ladies exercising?
Answer: Exercise varies; it is a general word. Exercising amongst the girls with something that does not oppose the pure legislation; by way of an abundance of walking in a place specific to them in which men will not mix with them or men will not see them, or by way of swimming amongst them within their home or in their school specifically wherein the men will not see them and men will not come in contact with them, there is no harm in this. As for the exercise which contains mixing between men and women or wherein men will see them or it will bring about evil for the Muslims, then it is not permissible. It is a must that the details be provided. The exercise which is specific to the women and does not contain anything legislatively prohibited and does not contain mixing with men, and it within a secluded place and a place far removed from free-mixing, then there is no harm in it; whether that be by walking, swimming, and its like; similarly, racing between them.

It is Permissible for a Man to Kiss His Daughter

It is Permissible for a Man to Kiss His Daughter
Question:

Is it permissible for a man to kiss his daughter, once she has grown up and reached the age of maturity - whether she is married or unmarried - and whether the kiss is on her cheek or on her mouth or elsewhere? And if she kisses him in these places, what is the ruling?
Answer:

There is no sin in a man kissing his small or adult daughter without desire, on condition that it is on the cheek if it is an adult. This is according to the confirmed narration on the authority of Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, may Allaah be pleased with him, in which it is stated that he kissed daughter, Aishah, may Allaah be pleased with her, on the cheek. Kissing on the mouth could lead to the arousal of sexual desire, so it is better and more prudent to avoid it. Similarly, the daughter may kiss her father on his nose or on his head without desire. As for with desire, that is forbidden by all, without any dispute, due to the element of temptation and trial (Fitnah) it would include, and in order to prevent what may lead to evil deeds (unlawful sexual acts).

Teaching children about Sexaul dangers!!!

Bismillah assalamualikum warahma tullahiwabaraka tuhu

Perhaps some parents seeing this email would be SHOCKED so are some other ones! But i hope you understand i do not write this in VAIN.

it is a very very very important topic that you must be aware of AND make your KIDS aware of as well. Doesn't matter if you live in NY or in the villages of Bangladesh or Yemen.

I got an email from a sister who shared such a concern about that i thought i should share (without shame as there is no shame when it comes to learning) so people can learn something to protect themselves and their kids from fornicationsand musturbations. Below is a book that you can buy to read about this as to the regulations of teaching kids about this and warning them of its danger.

MANY MANY parents SHY away for no reasons to teach their kids about the physical and mental changes that the kids go through as they grow up, changes as development of private parts, pubic hair, menses, love, sex etc! And the END result is, the kids end up learning about each of the things from others or on their own from books, TV, non-Muslims, fornications books etc. When they learn, they have no idea about the danger, they just learn the part of FULFILLING SELF DESIRE!So they end up playing husband and wife amongst girls and girls or boys and boys or boys and girls or masturbating on their own!!!!!

Many girls do not know the changes that their body are going through, they pass through mental shocks as they become aware and tends to do whatever! Finds out in hardway what to do, all always shy to discuss anything with MOM or sisters or any family members about anything BECAUSE they never shared anything with her to begin with!!!! The girl silent go through whatever she is going through!

Countless Muslim kids are in the PUBLIC schools of USA or Mixed schools around the globe! If they are in the USA, YAAA 'Ahebbaeeee! they learn about love and lust from the PRE-K you dumb founded MUSLIM PARENTS!!!!! KNOCK your HEAD off if you haven't realized it! I am working in public schools now and in these end days of school year, DID YOU KNOW, the teachers make pair of a boy and a girl couple to do graduate DANCE CEREMONY with MUSIC!!!! OH! they practice the dance with the teacher everyday until they master to dance hand in hand shoulder to shoulder like couple watching the adults doing, then you have all the movies from SNOW WHITE To Cinderalla etc, man!!! all these are watched in the classrooms!!!!!!

AS for other than USA, People, kids play it all out as husband and wife, from TV shows, from what they see around them and hear, from the jokes that olders make about them being married to this or that, kisses, hugs etc!!! 10 years ago they did not have luxury of watching DISH channel in villages of Bangladesh, but NOW THEY Do, all hindi movies, all love and lust stories, all there!!!!

Because kids are growing up and their hormones are gushing forth with desire and more, they do whatever they desireUNLESS YOU warn them of the danger and punishment and sins about those affairs!

yaa 'Ahebbaeeee!!! KIDS won't come and talk to you on this BECAUSE DAAAA! YOU NEVER talked to them on this!!!!!

But it is much normal in the US!
One day in the train, i saw a deshi kid being forced to kiss a girl by 2 or 3 of his non-muslim classmates! they girl wanted to date him but he didn't seem willing, they kept pushing him on the girl and forcing him to seat next to her etc!!!! ilahi!!! what a torture to go through of such fitnah when you do not have knowledge nor have family members to help you through such situations!

I saw pre-k kids trying to kiss and hug each other when they liked them, i saw it in kindergarden, and i saw it everywhere level of US schools! it is in public! oh! in bangladesh it happens no less! But it is more subdue but it is there!

There are good parents and family members out there that teach their children about these topics as they grow up from the age of 6 or 7 such that they do not fall into these evil things. I remember visiting a family, and i saw her teaching about menses and other things to her kids when they were as young as 7 or 8 or earlier! *i forgot the time period*, i saw her having pamphlets and other materials in the house! Some schools give these out as well to make parents aware about these so they can help their kids! I saw that family teaching their boy not to touch or kiss etc or be kissed etc! Such that one someone older was trying to do to him, he refused saying, i am growing up and my mom said this should not be done to me!

May Allah guide those ignorant family members who have caused great harms to their children due to their worthless shyness!

YAAA people who got my email, teach your kids and save them from a GREAT HARM and from GREAT SINS!
watch out the books they read, teach them about those things! The books have everything in them in details - ta da!!!!!

Assalam alykum WarehmatuAllahi Wabarakatuh
Respected sister!
AlhamduliAllah I saw such a tremendous feeling in u people for memorization of Qu'ran.
I just wnated to share some of the virtues of memorization with u.

"Abu Huraira (r.z) narrated that Rasulullah Sallallahu Aleyi wasalam said: There is no jealousy but of two men: A man whom Allah has taught the Quran and he recites is during the hours of the night and during the hours of the day, and his neighbor listens to him and says: "I wish I had been given what has been given to so-and-so, in order that I might do what he does; and a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it on what is just and right, whereupon another man may say: "I wish I had been given what so-and-so has been given, for then I would do what he does" (Sahih Bukhari).

It is narrated from Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Amr (r.z) that Rasulullah Sallallahu Aleyi wasalam said: Allah U will say to a Hafiz (upon his death and on the day of Qiyaamat) 'Recite the Quran and (upon reciting each Verse) climb (a stage in Jannah) and continue reciting as you used to in the world as your abode in Jannah is upon the last verse you recite.' (Mishkaat)
Ma Allah Subhanahutala make us of those Aameen.

so AlhamduliAllah I decided to start the Hifdh group class for u.
Only those people are eligible for this class who do not need lot of Tajweed practice and atleast they can recite the Qura'n without making major mistakes.

The timings suits me most is on Monday 11-12p.m EST.

JazakiAllahu Kahir

Wasalam,

Tajweed Instructor

The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it." [Bukhari]

May Allah subhanahutala make us of those Aameen.

’Uthaimeen on the Fruits of Eemaan in Qadr

Shaikh ’Uthaimeen, may Allaah have mercy on him, said, “From the fruits ofeemaan in Qadr is the repelling of self-amazement when one attains what one wanted, because its attainment is a blessing from Allaah عزوجل owing to the means of [attaining] good and success which He decreed, so He thanks Allaah تعالى for that and leaves self-admiration.
Expelling worry and discontent when one misses out on what one wanted or when something disliked happens is also from its fruits, because that was going to happen due to the Qadaa of Allaah تعالى to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, so it was definitely going to happen, so he has patience regarding that and hopes for the reward.”

“Indeed the Legislation orders us to keep away from everything which causes regret … Allaah سبحانه said:
“Secret counsels (conspiracies) are only from Satan, in order that he may cause grief to the believers. But he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits.” [Mujaadilah 58:10]
And Allaah تعالى only told us this so that we keep away from it, it was not merely a piece of information telling us that the Devil wants to cause us grief, no, what is meant is that we keep away from everything which causes grief. And for this reason the Prophet  said, “When there are three people, two should not converse together to the exclusion of the third.”[Agreed upon]
So everything which brings about sadness in a person is forbidden …
The Prophet  ordered a person who saw a dream that he disliked to dry-spit to his left three times and seek Allaah’s Refuge from its evil and the evil of the Devil and to then turn to the other side [to sleep on] and not to tell anyone about it and to perform ablution and pray—all of this so that a person can drive away all of these things [grief etc.] …
And that is why the Companions said that we used to see dreams and become ill because of them, but when the Prophet of Allaah  told us thishadith … i.e., they relaxed and no worry remained.
So the Legislator wants us to avoid everything which brings about worry, grief, and sadness, and for this reason Allaah تعالى said:
“So whosoever intends to perform Hajj therein then he should not have sexual relations (with his wife), nor commit sin, nor dispute unjustly during the Hajj.” [Baqarah 2:197]
Because disputes make a person defend himself and his thoughts change for the sake of the argumentation, and he will became worried and it will distract him from worship.
The point is always keep in mind the fact that Allaah عزوجل wants you to be happy all the time, far from grief.
And in reality a person has three situations: a past situation, a present and a future one. A person forgets the past and the worry that it had because it and what it contained is over, if it was a calamity, then say:
اللهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي، وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
“O Allaah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better than it in exchange for it,” [Muslim] and forget about it.
And for this reason He forbade wailing over the dead, why? Because it renews the grief and reminds one of it.
As for the future, its knowledge is with Allaah عزوجل, rely on Allaah and when issues come to you then seek their solution, but those things which the Legislator has ordered you to prepare for then prepare for them.
It is the present time which it is possible for you to deal with, try to keep away from everything that causes worry, grief and sadness so that you can always be relaxed and have an open breast, dedicating yourself to Allaah and worshipping Him and [dedicating yourself] to your worldly affairs and those connected to the Hereafter.
When you try this, you will relax.
As for tiring yourself over what has passed or worrying about the future in a manner the legislation has not allowed, then know that [if you do so] you will become exhausted and lose out on much good.”
