- He is Imam Aboo Zakariyyah Yahyaa ibn Sharfuddeen Muree ibn Hasan al-Hizaamee al-Huraanee ash-Shaafi’ee.He was born in Nawaa in Muharram in the year of 631H. He enrolled in al-Madrasah ar-Rawaahiyyah near al-Jaami’ al-Umawee in Damascus duringthe year 649H. His primary shaykh was, Ishaaq ibn Ahmad ibn Uthmaan al-Maghribee al-Maqdisee. He is the Haafidh, the Faqeeh, and Muhaddith of Islam. Some of his works are: Sharh Saheeh Muslim, al-Irshaad,Riyaadus Saaliheen, Forty Hadith. He passed away on 24th of Rajab in the year of 676H in his hometown Nawaa.
