The End of Ramadan and Incitement to continue upon good deeds
All Praises belongs to Allah, the Great Magnificent, The Generous, The Most Kind, The Most Merciful, He created everything with its predestinate, and He sent down the Legislation and He facilitated it, and He is the All Wise, and All Knowing, He started the Creation, and He will end it, and He set the orbit in motion and set its running. As Allah said, "And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All- Knowing. And the moon, We have measured for it mansions (to traverse) till it returns like the old dried curved date stalk. It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit." [36: 38-40]
My Brothers, verily the departure of Ramadan is near and no hope in changing that. And the Ramadan is a witness for you or against you depending on what deeds you offered him. Whoever offered Ramadan a good deed then let him thank Allah for that, and let him expect good reward. Indeed, Allah does not deprive the reward of whoever does a good deed. And whoever offered Ramadan a bad deed then he shall repent to his Lord a perfect repentance (Tawbat Al-Nasooah). Verily, Allah accepts the repentance of the one who repent.

Obligations binding at the End of the Month
Verily, Allah has legislated for specific acts of worship for the end of Ramadan that brings you closer to Allah, and they (the acts of worship of after Ramadan) increase the strength of your emaan and they increase your good deeds in your accounts. Therefore, Allah has legislated for you Zakat Al-Fitr (the charity of breaking the fast) and it has been legislated for you Al-Takbiir (the praising of Allah loudly) at the time of finishing the prescribed period from the sunset of the night of the Eid up to Eid prayer. Allah said, “(He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allâh [i.e. to say Takbîr (Allâhu Akbar: Allâh is the Most Great)] for having guided you so that you may be grateful to Him.” [2:185]
Its form is to say, “Allâh is Greatest, Allâh is Greatest, none deserves worship but Allâh. Allâh is Greatest, Allâh is Greatest, and to Him is all praise”. And all praises are due to Allah. And it is the Sunnah for the men to say Takbir loudly in the mosques, markets, and houses declaring Allah’s glory and showing His worship, and appreciation. As for the women, they should make takbir silently because they are commanded with modesty and not to raise their voices in Takbir.
And Allah has legislated for His servants the Eid prayer on the day of the Eid. It is from the completeness of remembering Allah ‘Ajja wa Jal. The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhe wa sallam commanded the women to go out for the Eid prayer even though her prayers in her house is better with the exception of this prayer. And from the sunnah is that a person eats before he exits his house for Eid Al-Fditr prayer with odd numbers of dates, three, five, or more. And he sallallahu alayhe wa sallam used to go out to the Eid prayer walking, not riding unless there is an excuse such as tiredness. It is sunnah for the man to beatify himself and to wear his best dress, due to what is reported in the ahadeeth of Sahih Bukharee from the Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam. As for the woman, then she goes to Eid prayers without makeup or perfumes or showing part of her body because she is commanded with modesty and forbidden form exposing her beauty or wearing perfumes when going outside the house.
The prayer should be made with concentration and with the presence of the heart. And a Muslim should increase his remembrance of Allah and supplicating to Him hoping for His mercy and fearing His punishment. The gathering of all the people should remind one of the gathering people in the greatest place between the hands of Allah, the Most High on the Day of Judgment. One should reflect on the differences among the people and be reminded that some will be given precedence over others in the Hereafter. As Allah said, “See how We prefer some of them to others (in this world), and verily, the Hereafter will be greater in degrees and greater in preferment.” [17:21]
Then, he should be happy for all the bounty that he made it by reaching of the Ramadan and he did what he was able to do from salah, fasting, and recitation, and charity and other good deeds. Verily that is better than this life and everything in it. Allah said, “Say: "In the bounty of Allâh, and in His Mercy (i.e. Islâm and the Qur'ân); – therein let them rejoice." That is better than what (the wealth) they amass.” [10:58] But he should be happy with the blessing of Allah upon him for the reaching of the Ramadan and he did what he was able to do from the prayer, the fasting, and the recitation, and charity and other good deeds. Verily, that is better than this life and everything in it.

Incitement to Continue in doing good deeds
My brothers even if Ramadan has finished, the deeds of the believer does not end before his death. Allah, ‘Ajja wa Jal said, “And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (i.e. death).” [15:99] And He, the Exalted said, “O you who believe! Fear Allâh (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. (Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always,) and die not except in a state of Islâm [as Muslims (with complete submission to Allâh)].” [3:102] and the Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam said, “If the servant dies, his deeds ends”. He did not make death except as a goal to end the deed of the servant.
The fasting is still legislated through out the year
So, if the fasting of the Ramadan has ended, the believer does not stop from performing the worship of fasting. The Fasting is still legislated throughout the whole year, and to Allah belongs all praises. In the Sahih of Muslim from the hadith of Abi Ayoub Al-Ansari may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam said, “Whomever fasted Ramadan then he follows it with six (days of fast) from Shawal, it is like he fasted the whole year,” and the fasting of three days from every month.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam said about it, “Three (days of fast) from every month and the Ramadan to Ramadan, this equals the fasting of the whole year”. [Collected by Imam Ahmed and Muslim] And the first is the white days and these are the 13th, and 14th, and 15th (days of every Arabic Month) as it is Mentioned in the hadeeth of Abi Dhar, where the Prophetsallallahu alayhe wa sallam said to him, “O Abaa Dhar, if you fast from the month three days then fast 13th, 14th, and 15th”. [Reported Imam Ahmed and An-Nasaee in the Sahih]
It is reported in the Sahih Muslim that the prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam was asked about the fast on the day of Arafa, whereupon he said, "it expiates the sins of the preceding year and the coming year." And he was asked about fasting on the day of Ashura, whereupon he said, "It expiates the sins of the preceding year."
It is also reported in Sahih Muslim from Abi Hurayrah that the Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam was asked which is the best after the (fast) of the Month of Ramadan, he said, “the best fast after the month of Ramadan is the fast of Month of Allah, Al-Muharram.” In the two Sahih (Bukharee and Muslim), it is reported from Aeysha radi Allahu anhu, she said, “I never saw the Prophetsallallahu alayhe wa sallam completing a month except the month of Ramadan and i didn't see him fasting the most in a month (from amongst the month except) in Shaa'ban”, in another narration, "he used fast all of it, except little)”. It is also reported from her in the five books of ahadeeth except Aba Dawud that she said, "the Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam used to observe fast on Monday and Thursday."

The night prayer is still legislated in every night of the year
And even though the night prayer of the month of Ramadan ended but the night prayer is still permissible and All Praises be to Allah, in every night from the nights of the year as affirmed from the action of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhe wa sallam and his saying. It is reported in the two Sahih from Aeysha radi Allahu anha that the Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam would stand in prayer at night until (the skin of) his feet would crack, so Aishah radi Allahu anha said, why do you do this, O Messenger of Allah when Allah has forgiven you your past and future sins?" He replied, "Should I not strive to be a grateful servant!" It is also reported in Sahih Muslim from Abu Hurayra radi Allahu anhu that the Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam said, "The best of Prayer after the obligatory prayers is the Night Prayer."
And the following regular (sunnan) for the obligatory prayers are twelve raka'at: four raka'h before the Zuhr, and two raka'h after it, and two raka'h after the Magrib, and the two raka'h after the Isha' and the two raka'h before the Fajr Prayer, due to the narration in Sahih Muslim from Umm Habibaa radi allahu anha, that she said, she heard the Prophetsallallahu alayhe wa salam say, there is no servant who submits to Allah praying twelve raka'ats everyday of his own volition, apart from the obligatory prayer except that Allah builds for him a house in Jannah."

The remembrance of Allah is still legislated throughout the year
And the remembrance after the five (daily) prayers, Allah ordered with it in His book and Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam urged to it, Allah said, "When you have finished As-Salât (the congregational prayer), remember Allâh standing, sitting down, and (lying down) on your sides." [4:103]
And the Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam, when (after) he made salam (finished prayer), he used to make Ishtigfar (saying: ‘I ask Allaah for forgiveness.’) three times, and said, "O Allaah, You are as-Salaam and from You is all peace, blessed are You, O Possessor of majesty and honour." And he sallallahu alayhe wa sallam said, “Whoever glorifies Allaah (says SubHaanallaah) after each prayer thirty-three times, praises Allaah (says alHamdulillaah) thirty-three times, and magnifies Allaah (says Allaahu Akbar) thirty-three times – that makes ninety-nine – then completes one hundered by saying ‘Laa ilaaha illallaah waHdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul mulku, wa lahul Hamdu, wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadeerun‘ (one has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent), his sins will be forgiven even if they were (abundant) like the foam of the sea.” [Reported in Sahih Muslim]
So strive o my brothers in the obedient actions and avoid sins and transgressions to attain victory for the better life in this Duniyah and for the more reward after the death. As Allah 'Ajja wa Jal said, "Whoever works righteousness – whether male or female – while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islâmic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter)." [16:097]
O Allah give us firmness upon the Emaan and the Righteous Actions, and give us a good life, and gather us with the righteous, and Allah praises belong to Allah, the Lord of all that exists, and salah and salam be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and all of his companions.
